Stephen Jackson has said that it is a "blessing" to be practising with an NBA side again.
The 35-year-old signed for the Los Angeles Clippers yesterday, joining the team for a shootaround ahead of their game against the Boston Celtics later today.
The small forward told the team's website: "It's a blessing just to be back and get another opportunity to play again.
"The way the season ended last year I just wanted to get back and approach the game different this year and get back and do what I love to do and that's play basketball.
"I'm just thankful that the Clippers gave me an opportunity with some great young guys, a great team and to just be a part of it."
Jackson won the NBA finals with the San Antonio Spurs in 2003.
