Los Angeles Lakers coach Byron Scott has revealed that Kobe Bryant has hinted that he could retire at the end of the 2015-16 NBA season.
The 37-year-old, who made his NBA debut in 1996, has been hampered by Achilles, knee and shoulder injuries in the last two seasons, restricting him to just 41 total games during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 campaigns.
Ahead of the team's defeat to the New York Knicks, Scott told NBA.com: "We've talked about it a few days ago. Talked about it again and his feeling was 'coach, this might be my last year. So if possible I would like to try to play every game'."
Bryant has played six games so far this season, averaging 16.5 points per game for the Lakers.
