NBA commissioner Adam Silver has revealed that Miami Heat star LeBron James is among a number of players who have personally asked him to make the All-Star break longer.
Silver conceded that he met briefly with multiple players in New Orleans and said that there are certain stars who are lobbying for the All-Star participants to be allowed a longer break.
"One of the issues LeBron raised is a break during All-Star [weekend]. I think it makes sense if we can work in the schedule a few days so the All-Stars can get a break as well," Silver said, ESPN reports.
James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh met their Miami teammates on Monday in Dallas for an evening of practice before facing the Mavericks on Tuesday night.
