The Phoenix Suns have agreed to trade Caron Butler to the Milwaukee Bucks, with Ish Smith and Slava Kravtsov moving in the opposite direction.
Butler joined the Suns in July following a successful spell for the Los Angeles Clippers, but Phoenix have decided to let the 33-year-old leave to make way for point guard Smith and center Kravtsov.
"We're very excited to welcome Caron back home," Bucks general manager John Hammond said in a statement, referring to Butler's upbringing in Racine, Wisconsin.
Butler has averaged 15.5 points per game in an 11-year NBA career.
