New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony has suggested that he is ahead of schedule as he looks to make a comeback after undergoing surgery on his left knee.
Anthony had a season-ending operation to repair a tendon problem in February and is expected to make a return during New York's training camp ahead of the next NBA season.
"I'm doing extremely well," Anthony told ESPN
"Rehab is going very, very well. I'm actually ahead of schedule [compared] to where everybody predicted I would be at this point in time."
Anthony has recently come under criticism from Milwaukee Bucks veteran Jared Dudley, who labelled the frontman as potentially the most overrated player in the league.
