Mike Woodson frustrated with New York Knicks' season

New York Knicks coach Mike Woodson admits that this season has been "kind of a disaster" for his team.

New York Knicks coach Mike Woodson has conceded that this season has been "kind of a disaster" as his team struggle to make the playoffs.

The Knicks are 19-30 so far this year, which leaves them in 10th place in the Eastern Conference and two-and-a-half games adrift of the eighth and final playoff spot.

"This year has been, for me, it's been kind of a disaster from a coaching standpoint in trying to get players to compete and play at a high level," he said, ESPN reports.

Woodson insists that he isn't concerned by speculation over his future, and is purely focused on getting the franchise to the post-season.
