Agent: 'Andrew Bynum could miss 2014-15 NBA season'

Former Cleveland Cavaliers center Andrew Bynum is considering skipping the 2014-15 NBA season to undergo a knee therapy procedure in Germany.

Andrew Bynum will consider skipping the 2014-15 NBA season in order to undergo knee treatment in Europe, according to his agent.

The seven-foot center has struggled with knee injuries in the last couple of seasons, resulting in him playing just 84 regular season games in the last three years.

David Lee told the New York Post that the 26-year-old, who is currently a free agent, is considering travelling to Germany to undergo a Regenokine knee therapy procedure.

The treatment is not available in the United States, but Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant and MLB star Alex Rodriguez have previously gone to Europe to receive the therapy.

Lee also claims that the New York Knicks would be interested in signing Bynum for the 2015-16 season if he successfully completes the program.
