Kevin Durant has insisted that the Oklahoma City Thunder must improve following their tense victory over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night.
The Thunder started the new season with a 101-98 win over the Jazz but Durant, who scored 42 points, believes that there is more to come from his team.
"Any win is a good win and I don't want to downplay it, but we have to get a lot better," Durant told reporters.
The 25-year-old was also eager to praise his teammates for their contribution to his impressive statistics at the EnergySolutions Arena.
"I just tried to be aggressive and I think my teammates put me in great positions to be aggressive. I need to finish some of those `and-1s' and make more shots," he added.
Oklahoma face the Minnesota Timberwolves in their second game of the season on Friday.
