Indiana Pacers humbled by Oklahoma City Thunder

The Indiana Pacers fail to make it two wins from two this weekend as they are beaten 118-94 by the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Indiana Pacers failed to make it two wins from two this weekend as they were beaten 118-94 by the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Chesapeake Energy Arena on Sunday.

The Pacers failed to keep up with the City Thunder, who led at the end of every quarter and were up by as many as 29 points at one stage during the game.

The match was touted as the clash between two MVP candidates in the form of Paul George and Kevin Durant, with the latter having the last laugh by leading his side to a surprisingly comfortable victory in Oklahoma.

Durant and his teammate Russell Westbrook each had double-doubles and combined to score 62 points for the Thunder, while George's impressive second-half showing of 26 to lead to an overall 32 still was not enough to deny the home side victory.

The Pacers will be looking to hit back as they go into an important clash with the Miami Heat on Tuesday.
