Tony Bellew has said that he will shock the light-heavyweight division when he takes on WBC champion Adonis Stevenson in Quebec on November 30.
It will be the second time that the Liverpool man has fought for a world title following his narrow split-decision defeat to Nathan Cleverly two year ago.
The hype around his opponent - nicknamed 'Superman' - is huge coming off the back of impressive stoppages against Chad Dawson and Tavoris Cloud, but Bellew has vowed to deny him a unification bout with WBO titlist Sergey Kovalev.
"I think I am the 'Kryptonite' - that is the best way of putting it," Sky Sports News quotes Bellew as saying.
"They hype Stevenson up to be the next coming of Mike Tyson but, the fact of the matter is, he is just a little man with a huge punch. I am going to defuse that punch and just turn him into a little man.
"Everyone wants to see this big Kovalev-Stevenson fight happen, but they are not going to see it because I am going to turn this division on its head on November 30."
Kovalev ripped his world title from Cleverly inside five rounds back in August.
