Timothy Bradley: 'I have a lot to prove against Manny Pacquiao'

WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley admits that he is determined to prove that his first win over Manny Pacquiao wasn't "a fluke".

WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley has revealed that he is eager to secure a decisive victory over Manny Pacquiao on Saturday evening.

Bradley defeated Pacquiao on points in 2012, despite many scoring the bout in favour of his opponent, and the American has admitted that the controversy surrounding the first fight is motivating him ahead of their second showdown in Las Vegas.

The 30-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "I have a lot to prove in this fight, and number one is that the first fight was not a fluke.

"There were a lot of things that happened in the first fight that weren't right. So I am a different fighter now. A different beast - a different animal this time around and I am going to prove to the fans and everybody watching.

"I got the win but it felt like I lost because I didn't get any credit from the fans and it's important to get the credit from the fans. I feel that I need to showcase myself and win by a large margin."

Bradley is undefeated in 31 encounters, while Pacquiao has 55 victories from 62 fights.
