Dereck Chisora expects "explosive" Ondrej Pala bout

European heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora believes that new opponent Ondrej Pala will provide a sterner test than that of the injured Matteo Modugno.

European heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora has revealed that he is anticipating an "explosive" fight when he faces Ondrej Pala on November 30.

Pala has stepped in to replace the injured Matteo Modugno, but Chisora has insisted that the Czech Republic combatant will be heading to England to make the British fighter his 23rd knockout victim.

The 29-year-old told FrankWarren.com: "It's a late change as I've prepared for Modugno, but I like the look of Pala. I reckon that he'll give me a much better fight than Modugno would have given me."

"He can definitely bang as his 22 knockouts show and he'll be looking to do some damage to me. As long as he comes forward and attacks, and doesn't go on the back foot running away, then it will be an explosive fight."

Chisora will be defending the European strap for the first time after he stopped Edmund Gerber inside five rounds in September.
