Dereck Chisora is suspended by the World Boxing Council for his brawl with David Haye last month.

Dereck Chisora has been suspended indefinitely by the World Boxing Council for his behaviour at the press conference in Munich earlier this month.

The British boxer's unsuccessful challenge for the WBC title against Vitali Klitschko was overshadowed by his brawl with David Haye at the post-fight press conference.

The altercation, during which the men trade blows, was caused by comments made by both fighters about the other's credentials.

The statement released by the WBC called Chisora's behaviour "some of the worst ever by a professional boxer".

It has also been confimed that Chisora will be due to attend a disciplinary hearing on March 14 and he has been removed from their rankings.

The 28-year-old also faces a "serious" fine.
