Nathan Cleverly has confirmed that an agreement has been reached for him to fight WBA light-heavyweight champion Juergen Braehmer.
The 28-year-old Welshman, who lost to Tony Bellew in their November rematch last year, hopes to fight Braehmer after his next opponent.
"Terms have been agreed," Cleverly told BBC Radio Wales Sport. "It's just a matter of me getting this next fight out of the way and then we are going to make an announcement."
Cleverly is expected to face an unnamed opponent on May 30.
