Nathan Cleverly seeking repeat of 2011 performance against Tony Bellew

Nathan Cleverly says that he is aiming to "press the repeat button" against Tony Bellew.

Nathan Cleverly has said that he is aiming for a repeat of his 2011 performance against Tony Bellew when he takes on the Liverpudlian on Saturday evening.

The Welshman defeated Bellew on points when they last met at Liverpool's Echo Arena, and believes that he can do the same when they contest the WBO and WBA intercontinental cruiserweight titles.

"I beat him once, it's a matter of pressing the repeat button," BBC Sport quotes the 27-year-old as saying.

Cleverly went on to mock his opponent, claiming that there are people in Bellew's home city of Liverpool that want to see him lose the fight.

"I was walking around the city and it felt like it was my hometown - people were coming up to me taking photos and saying they wanted me to silence this guy," he added.

Take an in-depth look at the fight at the Echo Arena by reading Sports Mole's preview.
