Former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye has suggested that he is ready for a boxing comeback.
The 34-year-old has not fought since defeating Dereck Chisora in 2012 and had shoulder surgery a year later, but Haye believes that he is now fit enough to return to the ring.
The British fighter told Sky Sports News: "It's over three years now that I haven't been in the ring but I've been looking after myself.
"I've been really working on my foundations so when I do make this comeback I don't have to have six months to a year between fights, recovering from injuries.
"I want to make this last run my best - I'll have an announcement soon. I'm in a really good place physically and mentally."
Haye holds a 26-2 record and has won world titles in two different weight classes.
