British heavyweight David Haye believes that Carl Froch is fighting for his career when he faces Mikkel Kessler at the O2 Arena on Saturday night.

British heavyweight David Haye insists that 'everything is to play for' when Carl Froch faces Mikkel Kessler on Saturday evening.

The super-middleweight bout is the second meeting between the two, with Kessler winning the first clash on points, and Haye believes that the loser of Saturday's fight will have to consider retirement.

The 32-year-old told Sky Sports News: "For one of them, this could be the last big, super fight of their career.

"For the other, a revenge shot at world number one Andre Ward could be on the horizon. Basically, they have it all to play for."

Froch's promoter Eddie Hearn believes that Andre Ward wants a rematch with his client, despite defeating the Nottingham fighter in 2011.
