David Haye has predicted an enthralling super-middleweight contest between his two good friends Carl Froch and George Groves.
The pair go head to head for the IBF and WBA world titles, currently held by the Nottingham fighter, in Manchester this evening.
"I know both of them very, very well, but I want to try and enjoy this fight as a fan - both these guys are great fighters," the 33-year-old told Sky Sports News.
"George has it all to prove, Carl is proving it time and time again. Can Carl do it again? I believe he can."
Haye has not ruled out his former stablemate though, insisting that the 25-year-old, who is unbeaten in 19 bouts, is in peak physical condition.
"I've seen [Groves] perform at world-class level in gym, but can he do it under the lights with 10oz gloves on? I believe he's ready - if he's not ready now he never will be," he added.
"He's beaten everyone, it's not like he's struggled. he's knocking people out with single shots - things he hasn't done before - so he's improving.
"If he's ever going to win a world title it'll be now. Physically he's in his prime and it'll be a great, great fight."
Haye has been advised to retire following shoulder surgery in Germany last week.
