Anthony Joshua has said that beating Gary Cornish could potentially set up a fight with Wladimir Klitschko in the future.
Joshua will fight Cornish tonight looking to extend his 13-fight unbeaten streak, with victory leading him to a showdown with rival Dillian Whyte in December.
"I need to get rid of Cornish so I can keep knocking on the door for world titles. I think it will be next year – 20-0 would be a good point to fight for a world title, or even 18-0," Joshua told reporters.
"Klitschko will still be around. He says he's got five more fights. I don't know whether that's four more after Fury.
"If I can get past Cornish, move on to Dillian in December and keep on winning, he'll still be around and me and Klitschko can get it on."
Joshua has won all his professional fights inside the first three rounds.
