British welterweight Amir Khan has revealed that he could find out the name of his next opponent by the end of the week.
Khan was left without a fight after missing out on a lucrative encounter with Floyd Mayweather, but the two-time light-welterweight world champion has insisted that he will discover details of his next fight "in the next couple of days".
The 27-year-old told IFL.TV: "I've left it with Golden Boy, but we are looking at a few opponents. I will see who they come back with in the next couple of days.
After being asked about potential bouts with Robert Guerrero and Luis Collazo, Khan said: "They have been mentioned to me, and I have said that I would fight them.
"I look at Guerrero and he is ranked very highly in the 147 division, and so is Collazo."
Khan's last fight came in April, when he struggled to a points victory over Julio Diaz.
