Amir Khan has claimed that he faces a 'make or break' fight when he squares off against Carlos Molina on December 15.
The Bolton fighter is looking to avoid a third straight defeat having lost to Danny Garcia and Lamont Peterson in his last two bouts.
Molina is undefeated in his 17 career fights so far, but despite this Khan knows that he cannot afford another loss.
"We have to come back stronger because we made mistakes and we are not ever going to make mistakes again," Khan told talkSPORT.
"We are in a sport where we are facing the best. I am one fighter who is not avoiding any other fighter, whoever they have put in front of me I have faced. I never avoid big names and maybe that is why I have [gained] so much respect in America.
"This fight is a make or break fight. I have to win this fight to be where I need to be."
Khan has vowed to focus on becoming a light-welterweight world champion for the third time in 2013 after his fight with Molina.
