Floyd Mayweather is the new WBC Welterweight champion after he claimed a controversial win over Victor Ortiz at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Mayweather knocked out Ortiz in the fourth round to extend his unbeaten record to 42 bouts.
However, the 34-year-old appeared to deliver the knockout blow while Ortiz had let his guard down to apologise for head-butting Mayweather moments before.
"I got hit by a dirty shot. The rule is protect yourself at all time," said Mayweather afterwards.
"We are not here to cry and complain about what he did or I did dirty."
It was Mayweather's first fight in sixteen months after he reversed his decision to retire from the sport.
Manny Pacquiao could be Mayweather's next opponent as the two fighters' camps attempt to reach agreement over a possible bout.
