Freddie Roach: 'Manny Pacquiao could beat Floyd Mayweather with arm behind his back'

Trainer Freddie Roach believes that Manny Pacquiao could beat Floyd Mayweather Jr with one arm tied behind his back.

Manny Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach is confident that the Filipino will handle the threat posed by Floyd Mayweather Jr when the two go toe to toe in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The fight, which is being dubbed the biggest of the century, will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Mayweather, who is regarded as the best pound-for-pound fighter of his generation, is favourite to win the bout due to his unbeaten record.

However, Roach has insisted that Pacquiao can cope with Mayweather's shoulder roll, which he executes to protect the left side of his jaw.

"That's where Floyd is most vulnerable," Roach told the Daily Mail. "We're at the point where Manny could beat him with his right arm tied behind his back."

Mayweather is unbeaten in 47 professional bouts, while Pacquiao has lost five of his 64 fights.
