British super-middleweight Paul Smith believes that his first experience of a world title fight will benefit him in his rematch with Arthur Abraham on Saturday night.
Smith lost a contentious points decision to Abraham in September, but ahead of the second bout in Berlin, the Liverpudlian has revealed that he expects to be at his best against the German representative this weekend.
The 32-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "I believe I'm at my best. I've improved since the first fight. It will be a tough, hard fight as well as technically.
"All the stuff that I've worked on in the gym will help at this stage for boxing, fighting for a world title, and it's one that I believe I handled well last time and I'll handle it even better this time."
