American heavyweight Tony Thompson has insisted that it is "only the good guys" that are following anti-doping regulations in boxing.
Ahead of his clash with David Price on Saturday, Thompson revealed that he believes boxers should be allowed to take drugs if they wish to do so because they suffer a disadvantage if they choose to follow the rules.
However, the former world title challenger was quick to insist that he would never risk harming his own body through drug use.
The 41-year-old told 5 Live Breakfast: "I think they should allow doping, period, because for me it's like the gun law.
"Only the good guys are listening. It leaves the good guys without the guns."
"It's an issue of choice; I would never want to be doing anything to alter my body down the road anyway."
Thompson has suffered just three defeats during his 39-fight career.
