Northern Ireland boxer Ruairi Dalton has insisted that he is "going for gold" in the Commonwealth Games this summer.
Dalton got his challenge underway with victory over Christopher Katanga on Friday and is confident that he can go all the way in Glasgow.
"Anything can happen, nothing surprises me in this game, but I am going for gold," Dalton told Sports Mole when asked about the red-hot favourite Andrew Selby's elimination against Reece McFadden earlier in the evening.
Dalton also paid tribute to the city of Glasgow when asked about the support he received during the bout.
"Glasgow is like home. Plenty of Irish here," he added.
Dalton will face Ezra Paul Mwanjwango on July 27.
