Former world heavyweight champion David Haye has confirmed that he will return to boxing in the near future under the guidance of Shane McGuigan.
Haye, who held the WBA belt between 2009 and 2011, has not competed since stopping Dereck Chisora in five rounds in July 2012, but despite his absence, it has been rumoured for some time that he would eventually make another attempt to win a world crown.
In a video released by The LAD Bible, the 35-year-old reveals that he has linked up with trainer McGuigan, who currently coaches IBF super-bantamweight champion Carl Frampton.
Haye, who is also a former world cruiserweight champion, has won 26 of his 28 bouts in the professional ranks.
