Wicketkeeper Brad Haddin has been granted leave and will return home from Australia's tour of the West Indies for "personal reasons".

The 34-year-old will be replaced by New South Wales keeper Peter Nevill.

National selector John Inverarity said: "Brad Haddin is in transit returning to Australia for personal reasons and has the full support of CA, the NSP and his team mates in so doing.

"We hope that Brad will be able to re-join the squad in the West Indies in the not too distant future."

Haddin made his Test debut in 2008, following the retirement of Adam Gilchrist.
