Australia have ended day two of the second Ashes Test match with a commanding 535-run advantage over England after a dominant performance on day two.
Michael Clarke and Brad Haddin put on a 200-run partnership for the sixth wicket as Australia declared on 570-9, before England made 35-1 before the close of play.

Dropped catches on Thursday meant that England had to settle for five wickets on day one, and they were made to pay as Clarke and Haddin took control against a toiling bowling attack.
Clarke made 148 before Ben Stokes dismissed him for his first Test wicket, with Haddin continuing to a blistering 118, which included five sixes.
Ryan Harris saw the innings through to a conclusion with a run-a-ball 55 to leave England with a huge task to avoid having to follow on in Adelaide.
They were dealt an immediate blow when Mitchell Johnson bowled Alastair Cook, but Michael Carberry and Joe Root took the tourists to the close ahead of what will be a pivotal day on Saturday.
