Kevin Pietersen has insisted that Bangladesh were deserving victors over England at the Cricket World Cup this morning.
The 15-run defeat has seen England, who were chasing a victory target of 276, exit the competition at the group stage, while Bangladesh advance through to the quarter-finals.
Writing on Twitter shortly after the conclusion of the clash in Adelaide, Pietersen tweeted:

England have won only one of their five matches, with a final group encounter against Afghanistan to come.
