England have made a bright start on day one of the third Test in Kolkata.
A poor error left India at 90-2 heading into lunch after winning the toss and opting to bat.
Virender Sehwag was taken for 23 as he was run out by Matt Prior following miscommunication with teammate Gautam Gambhir.
Cheteshwar Pujara was then bowled out by Monty Panesar for 16 runs, before Gambhir reached his half-century just before the break in play.
The hosts will return from lunch with Gambhir and Sachin Tendulkar at the crease.
