Moeen Ali has insisted that he does not mind where he bats in the England order for the upcoming one-day international tour of Sri Lanka.
The all-rounder has batted in three different positions during his five ODI performances to date.
However, despite the fact that he has so far been unable to nail down a regular spot, the 27-year-old has claimed that he is happy to "bat anywhere" for the team.
"I can adapt to a few positions so I don't mind at all [where I bat]. I can bat three or seven, open, I can bat anywhere. I can bat 11 as well," he told the ECB's official website.
"I've been up and down the order. That doesn't bother me too much, I'll bat wherever. If I can string some games together I'll be very happy."
Ali has scored 185 runs at an average of 37 for England in the 50-over format of the game.
