England fast bowler James Anderson has hailed captain Alastair Cook for his all-round performance in the third Test match against India.
Cook scored 190 runs in the first innings and won the Man of the Match award, as the tourists won by seven wickets in Kolkata to take a 2-1 lead in the four-match series.
"After the first Test we thought it would be tough, but we bounced back last week and to produce an equally impressive performance this week is really special," Anderson told the BBC.
"Alastair Cook has been brilliant. He likes to lead from the front and by example and he's clearly doing that at the moment.
"It's vital for the team to get a big first innings score and his 190 was crucial in us doing that here."
The fourth match in the series starts in Nagpur on Thursday.
