Ravi Bopara has claimed that the current ODI team is the best side he's played in during his England's career.
The Essex all-rounder scored 82 on Sunday as England took a 2-0 lead against Australia in the current ODI series and Bopara believes that there is a good balance in the current team.
"This is probably the best side we've had in my time playing one-day internationals," he said. "The bowlers are performing well and someone in the top six always gets a big score. We have had an incredible amount of hundreds in recent games and the fielding has been excellent throughout."
The 27-year-old has also revealed that he is feeling the benefit of the changes he has made to his batting in recent months.
"I'm batting as well as I ever have," Bopara added. "The few changes I have made over the last six months have really worked for me."
The third ODI takes place at Edgbaston on Wednesday.
