Michael Carberry: 'No issues with Kevin Pietersen'

Michael Carberry refutes suggestions that he no longer gets on with Kevin Pietersen following claims in the ECB's leaked document.

Former England batsman Michael Carberry has dismissed speculation that he has fallen out with Kevin Pietersen.

In a leaked ECB dossier obtained by ESPN Cricinfo on Pietersen's alleged behaviour during England's winter Ashes tour, it was claimed that Pietersen was highly critical of Carberry.

The report stated: "KP made disparaging remarks about Michael Carberry in front of other England players and team management prior to the fourth Test, stating 'aren't there any better players at County level? Carberry is useless'."

However, Hampshire's Carberry took to Twitter earlier today to insist that the pair still get on well.

"Morning!! Just to set the record straight re: @KP24 . I've never had any issues with Kev. We have always got on well and still do," he tweeted.

Pietersen has since branded the dossier "embarrassing".
