England need 140 runs to secure a Twenty20 series victory over New Zealand after the bowlers restrict the Kiwis to 139 at Wellington.

England need 140 to beat New Zealand in the third and final game of their T20 series against New Zealand to secure a 2-1 series win.

Three Lions skipper Stuart Broad won the toss and elected to bowl for the second game in a row and was vindicated in his decision as his bowlers dominated the majority of the Kiwi batting lineup.

Broad led the way, taking three wickets for just 15 runs and he was backed up by Jade Dernbach, who also struck three times while James Tredwell and Joe Root took one wicket apiece as they restricted the hosts to 139-7.

Martin Guptill top-scored for the Kiwis as he notched 59 runs off 55 balls and he was supported by a knock 26 by Brendon McCullum but no other batsman reached 20.

The series is currently tied at 1-1.
