England's Twenty20 meeting with New Zealand has been abandoned after 9.1 overs due to heavy rain at the Cobham Oval.
The hosts had raced to 70-1 in under 10 overs before the rain forced the match to be delayed until Tuesday.
With the clash being pushed back 24 hours, the second warm-up encounter has now been scheduled to take place on Wednesday at the same venue.
Returning England captain Stuart Broad had managed to bowl seven balls on his comeback from a recent heel injury, while Stephen Finn, Chris Woakes, Jade Dernbach and James Tredwell also attacked the New Zealand stumps.
The host's Hamish Rutherford racked up 21 runs off 15 balls before being caught by Broad off the bowling of Woakes, while the unbeaten pair of Anton Devcich (22) and Tom Latham (23) remained in bat for the hosts before the weather took a turn for the worse.
