England's Jos Buttler reprimanded by ECB

England wicketkeeper Jos Buttler is reprimanded by the ECB disciplinary committee for dissent shown while playing for Lancashire Lightning on T20 finals day.

England wicketkeeper Jos Buttler has been reprimanded for dissent shown while playing for Lancashire Lightning in the T20 Blast semi-final last month.

The 24-year-old has been reported to the England & Wales Cricket Board's disciplinary committee over a Level 1 breach in the victory over Hampshire on August 23.

Buttler, who made 49 in England's 41-run victory over India at Headingley in the final one-day international on Friday, is now three points away from having to serve a domestic suspension.

His Lancashire teammate Steven Croft has also been warned for "abuse of cricket ground, equipment or fixtures/fittings" during a Royal London One-Day Cup match against Leicestershire Foxes on August 21.

Lightning captain Paul Horton was suspended for two Twenty20 matches earlier this month for dissent shown to the umpires in their defeat to Birmingham Bears at Edgbaston last month.
