Sussex County Cricket Club have announced that they are investigating an incident involving Monty Panesar, who is believed to have urinated on bouncers during a night out.
The 31-year-old spin bowler is believed to have been partying at the Shooshh club in Brighton on Monday night, when he was asked to leave for hassling a group of women.
After leaving the club, it is understood by The Sun that Panesar went up to the promenade above the club and urinated on bouncers below.
The England cricketer was reportedly chased following the incident and fined £90 by police after they were called to the scene, according to The Telegraph.
Sussex released a statement on their official website saying: "Sussex County Cricket Club can confirm that an incident took place involving Monty Panesar in the early hours of Monday, August 5. The matter is under full investigation and the club will make no further comment at this stage."
Panesar's spokesman is said to have apologised on the cricketer's behalf.
