Former Test spinner Peter Such has been appointed as England's full-time spin coach, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced.
Such has been working in the role on a part-time basis for the past three years, but this announcement "re-emphasises" the need to produce a new pool of English spinners.
Of the appointment, England cricket's managing director Hugh Morris said: "Peter's appointment is due recognition for the significant contribution he has made to our spin programmes and also re-emphasises the importance we place on developing a pool of talented spinners."
The former Essex player will be based at the national performance centre in Loughborough.
