Worcestershire bowler Joe Leach takes hat-trick with first three balls

Worcestershire bowler Joe Leach claims three wickets with the first three balls to leave his side well on top against Northamptonshire at New Road.

Joe Leach has taken a hat-trick with the first three balls in Worcestershire's One-Day Cup clash against Northamptonshire.

The Worcestershire bowler sent Richard Levi, Rob Keogh and Ben Duckett packing at New Road in remarkable circumstances.

Levi was the first to go when being caught by wicketkeeper Ben Cox, before the 24-year-old repeated the trick to claim the wicket of number three batsman Keogh.

Leach then completed the feat, which has previously been achieved by Chaminda Vaas for Sri Lanka, by ending Duckett's time at the crease early on.
