England have axed Eoin Morgan and Graham Onions from the forthcoming Test series against Sri Lanka.
Morgan was expected to miss out on the chance to take on England's South Asia opponents after scoring just 199 runs against Pakistan.
Ravi Bopara has replaced the batsman, while Onions has made way for fit-again Tim Bresnan.
Spin-bowlers James Tredwell and Samit Patel have been included in the 16-man squad for the two-match series.
