Hampshire and Yorkshire have both qualified for the Twenty20 finals day with wins over Nottinghamshire and Worcestershire respectively.
Despite posting a total of 178-7, Nottinghamshire failed to secure their qualification to the competition's climax.
Hampshire looked to be struggling in the 10th over on 78-5 but Neil McKenzie smashed 79 from 49 deliveries to confirm the victory with one ball remaining.
Earlier in the day, a strong batting display allowed Yorkshire to progress to the finals day for the first time.
Joe Root top scored with 65 but the youngster was well supported by David Miller (50) and Gary Ballance (46*) as the hosts set Worcestershire 213 to win.
Phil Hughes compiled an innings of 80 from 53 but his teammates failed to replicate the Australian's performance and Worcestershire could only manage 183 from their 20 overs.
Sussex and Somerset secured their places in the competition's finals day yesterday evening.
