South Africa build lead over Australia

South Africa dismiss Australia for 163 to seize advantage of the third Test match in Perth.

Australia have been dismissed for 163 as South Africa begin to forge a strong lead in the third Test match in Perth.

After resuming on 118-7, the hosts were bowled out with half an hour of the afternoon session remaining before South Africa went into tea on 24-0.

The resistance of Australia's Matthew Wade was broken quickly into the second session of the day when he was bowled out for 68 by Robin Peterson.

That was Peterson's first wicket of the innings but he quickly sealed figures of 3-44 when he took the final two Australia wickets of John Hastings and Mitchell Johnson.

South Africa came out for the second innings to negotiate six overs without alarm to lead by 86 runs going into the final session of the day.
