South Africa's Dale Steyn came away with a six-wicket haul to reduce India to 334 all out after tea on day two of the second and final Test against India at Kingsmead in Durban.
Play was due to commence 30 minutes early, in a bid to recoup some of the 29 overs lost to bad light on Thursday. However, there was a lengthy rain delay, which caused the game to resume later than planned.
India lost their last nine wickets for 136 runs, crashing from a commanding 198 for one to 334 all out, with Steyn causing the damage in a fiery spell of bowling after lunch.
South Africa are currently 82 without loss in their reply during the final session with openers Graeme Smith and Alviro Petersen to resume on Saturday as they look to build a lead.
