Australia's Simon Gerrans has won the third stage of the Tour de France.
The Orica Greenedge rider came out on top after a sprint finish at the end of the 145.5km stage from Ajaccio to Calvi.
Peter Sagen had looked favourite to take the victory, but the 33-year-old just got ahead of him on the line.
Stage two winner Jan Bakelants remains in the yellow jersey, but Great Britain's Mark Cavendish endured a tough day, finishing over nine minutes behind the peloton.
