Germany's Marcel Kittel claimed victory in stage three of the Tour de France this afternoon, sprinting his way to a second stage win in three days.

In the last of three stages in England, Giant-Shimano rider Kittel was too strong for Peter Sagan and Mark Renshaw down The Mall in the centre of London.
After stages one and two in Yorkshire over the weekend, stage three began in Cambridge and made its way through Essex before entering the capital.
It was sunny for the country roads of Essex, but rain began to fall as the riders entered the city, making conditions tricky for the peloton as they caught up with the early breakaway duo of Jan Barta and Jean-Marc Bideau.
