Three-time world champion Martin Adams has been drawn against Dutchman Jimmy Hendriks in the opening round of the BDO World Championships.
Adams, who won the event in 2007, 2010 and 2011, will be looking to regain his world crown after the unfancied Christian Kist won the tournament last year.
Kist has been drawn against Robbie Green in the first round, while number one seed Stephen Bunting will face James Wilson.
Last year's runner-up Tony O'Shea will begin his campaign against former winner John Walton.
The tournament, which takes place at Lakeside in Surrey, will commence on January 5.
