Ryan Murphy drops American Horror Story clue

American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy drops a new clue about the theme of the upcoming 10th season.

American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy has teased a new clue about the upcoming 10th season of the comedy-drama.

Posting a picture of an empty beach featuring a broken fence to Instagram, Murphy added the caption: "Clue".

The image seems to confirm previous speculation that season 10 will take on a beach theme - and the showrunner has previously suggested that the episodes will need to be filmed during the summer months so that the weather fits.

Production is currently on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, although Murphy recently suggested that it could get underway later in the summer once the worst of the crisis has passed.

Announcing its 2021 plans yesterday, US broadcaster FX revealed that season 10 will now air at some point early next year - a delay from its usual September to November transmission.
