England forward Lauren Hemp will make a special appearance in tonight's episode of Hollyoaks, it has been revealed.
The scenes were shot following the Lionesses' historic Euro 2022 victory at Wembley on July 31 - a game in which Hemp's corner led to Chloe Kelly poking home for the winning goal in extra time.
The day after the final, Hollyoaks aired a quick-turnaround scene featuring Nadira and Juliet watching the match, and after Hollyoaks super-fan Hemp posted it to her social media, she was contacted about making an appearance.
In the cameo, Hemp - playing herself - arrives in the village and coaches Kathleen Angel's (Kiara Mellor) football team, which includes Charlie (Charlie Behan) and Ella (Erin Palmer).

The 22-year-old, who plays club football for Manchester City, said: "I love Hollyoaks and never miss it so when they posted the scene about us on their Instagram I then shared it on my story. Then my agent called and said that I had been invited to come and film a scene.
"I can't tell you what I replied but I shouted it down the phone! It was like a dream. I had two dreams in life and they've both happened in the last few weeks.
"It was a surreal day and I was just thinking 'I can't believe I am here', and people want my picture when I was really nervous but everyone was lovely. I'd love to come back again. I'd like to play a serial killer."
The scenes air in tonight's first-look episode on E4 at 7pm, then again on Channel 4 tomorrow at 6.30pm.
